EAEA announces the topic for 2026:
We will work on the theme of “Resilience and Community Building”. Given the European and geopolitical developments that have a strong impact on education and adult learning – and of course on its funding, participation and overall perception – we believe that this topic is relevant for all of us in Europe. In our view, resilience does not mean adapting to circumstances, but goes to the core of adult learning as a transformative and emancipatory project. In 2026, we want to focus on how resilience can be built within and through adult learning, not only as individuals, but also as communities and as societies.
